My husband & I are traveling to the London area for a work/vacation (for me) trip. Part of the time we are to be in Hertfordshire (Harpenden), and also he needs to go to Kew Gardens. What area can we stay in near London, or in London convenient to both areas and is within reason. Thanks,Pat

Thanks for your reply..He is limited to 100 pounds or less per night and near Victoria Station, as I guess that would be the easiest travel point to both destinations.Having never been, and reading Rick Steves 2008 book, that is what I have concluded...but again I am new to this kind of trip planning. Thanks
