I am an American college student studying abroad this semester in Copenhagen. Are there any things I should be sure to do, sites to see, museums to visit, places to eat, etc., before the end of my semester (keeping in mind that I am on a college student's budget)? So far I have visited Amalienborg Palace, Christiania, Christiansborg Palace, the Danish National Gallery, Frederiksborg Palace, the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Kronborg Castle, the Little Mermaid, the National Museum of Denmark, Nyhavn, Roskilde Cathedral, Thorvaldsen's Museum, and the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde, seen a ballet at the Royal Danish Theater, a concert at Loppen, and a jazz performance at La Fontaine, eaten at Café 22 and Pussy Galore's Flying Circus, and bought pastries at La Glace and Sankt Peders Bageri. Thank you!
You can't eat too many pastries and polse... Sounds like you hit all the highlights. If you like art and haven't been, go up to Louisiana Museum.

I really liked the Nazi resistance museum. And eat as many pastries as you can!
One more thing -- don't miss Tivoli Gardens!
I agree that the Resistance Museum and Louisiana are must see places. We also enjoyed the design museum, but I'm not sure if that's the exact name.
don't forget to visit the oldest amusement park in the world (425 years old!) when it opens on March 31 for a fun ride or two: http://www.bakken.dk/english.html free entrance, situated in the beautiful forest of Dyrehaven just north of Copenhagen. For train tickets as low as DKK 75.00 o/w ("Orange" tickets), you can travel to Odense to visit the house of Hans Christian Andersen, though admittedly it is 2 hours away from the capital. enjoy your studies in Denmark!
Things that aren't on your list: Rosenborg Castle and Grounds/Park Hornbaek beach is nice when the weather gets good - not touristy at all. I ran out of time before I got there but Dragor also looked like a nice place to spend a good weather day. There is also the circle through Sweden, cross into Malmo, drive north to Helsingborg, cross the ferry to Helsingor, then back to Copenhagen. There are some terrific history sites on Jutland if you have time to get there. Consider an overnight ferry to Oslo and back over the weekend. Maybe a weekend trip into Sweden. I like History so Kalmar and/or Uppsala would be high on my list.
