Hi all! I will be in Ireland (not sure where yet and open to recommendations) in mid/late July. I am looking for good places to catch authentic live music or maybe a local festival. Scenic destinations are preferable but not required. Any places (towns and pubs) that I shouldn't miss? Thank you so much!

Galway will be buzzing in July...great place to be. I always recommend Wesport, Co Mayo, not because I live here either...we always have live music going on throughout the year, but the summer months are great here. Plus, the west coast is scenic :)

Andrew, Try the website Trad on the Prom. The show is at the Salthill Hotel all summer and worth seeing. You might also check out the town of Ennis and its Glor auditorium. Have fun!
