It appears to me that this is a fairly new museum and gets good reviews. Has anyone visited it and, if yes, did you like it? Thanks.
I visited it 2 years ago. We were the only visitors there, lol. I liked it, a very strong focus on the Thames and maritime history.
Hi Sharon, I enjoyed the Docklands Museum (loved it). Here is an article I had archived a couple of months ago. The museum is profiled in the third paragraph: http://www.bbc.com/travel/feature/20101217-london-from-the-tide-line Have you been to their website? www.museumindocklands.org.uk I especially enjoyed the scale model of old London Bridge, and the displays of things found in the River Thames such as Roman coins. If you are really into the history of London and the Thames (I am), you will definitely enjoy it.
Thank you! Very interesting article - sure sounds like it's worth a visit.
