I am looking to rent a motorcycle with a sidecar while I am in Ireland next summer for my wife and I. we live in the Rocky Mountains so we are used to small 2 lane roads with weather issues. Our current bike is a Yamaha V-Star Custom 1100. I have had no luck with the 3 motorcycle rental places I have inquired with, and they have asked for info if I do find such a rental place. They have recommended private clubs, but which club, as there are so many????? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

Patrick, I looked into this two years ago and found nothing available. If you come up with something, I'd like to know, as I will definitely be returning to Ireland and would like to do the same thing. One thing to bear in mind is that in Ireland you drive on the "other" side of the road. I wonder how we who were trained to drive a sidecar rig in the US would respond in an emergency with the sidecar on the left-hand side! Mike

Try http://www.jawaireland.ie/motorcycle_rental_5.html, they don't explicitly say they rent sidecars, but I believe so from the pictures
