I believe it is a newly opened hotel. That is probably why you are having a hard time finding any reviews. I found their web site after someone on this site recommended their hotel in Munich. http://www.ricksteves.com/graffiti/helpline/index.cfm/rurl/topic/74930/hotels-in-munich-salzburg-and-prague.html The person's name is Mona and she is the 5th poster on the feed. While it is not the Edinburgh site, you could PM her with questions about the chain in general.

Well, I tried to google map it with the street view and had no success. I just want to make sure it's not some internet hoax or something. Wish I could hear back from someone that lives in Edinburgh. Anyone know someone there? Thanks

The chain is real. The motel is new. Look at the image date at the bottom on Google Street View. It's March 2010. Things change.

Yes, I realize things change. So, I take it you've been there and seen it and stayed there? I've like to hear from someone that knows for sure! Ever seen anything up on the internet that wasn't real?? Just say'in

I saw it in October. I have not entered it. I have not stayed in it. I've stayed at one either in Saarbrucken or Essen. They cost too much for a bunch of plastic. I will not stay in one again because I know where there is cheaper plastic. I don't particularly like Edinburg, anyway, but it's airport suits my interests. Had I stayed in it I would have said so instead of trying to simply dispel your fear of a hoax. I have nothing else to add, nor have I added much to what others have said. Maybe you should accept the body of responses or move on to something else.

Has any one stayed at or know about the Stagshead in Queensferry? Its certainly quaint and local looking. We are looking for reasonable accommodations in Edinburgh for a family of 4 but have a car and understand it can be difficult to deal with a car near the city centre. Any advice?
Thanks

Pete, Premier Inn was superb. I was there in May last year, We paid 55 US dollars per night for two people in a Double room. Our room has a direct view of the Castle, real photo here:

This car park is situated just off Lothian Road (A700). Drive into Edinburgh on the A702, continuing onto the A700 and Castle Terrace is a right hand turn when heading towards the city. Rate of 10 GBP for 24 hours for hotel guests

Thanks Frank. Sounds like a Great price that you got back in May. How'd you get such a great deal?
Thank you to all who like to give constructive advice! It's appreciated. I've really found that most people do that!

I booked their early bird special Premier Inn Saver price. none-refundable and 30 days+ in advance.
It was booked at £29 per night, with taxes it came out to about 55 US dollars per night.
