More on Copenhagen

This is more of a follow up on "coming to Copenhagen" Great! Thanks to all for the great advice. I can not wait to leave next week. Anyone know of a website(s) for discounts on such attractions like Tivoli Gardens or other hot spots in Copenhagen. Also, does anyone know that if it is true the Danish eat Whale and or seal? If so, where would one look for that type of food?
Thanks again everyone and look forward to hearing from you! Damion

I wouldn't be surprised if Danish ate whale or seal but we never saw any of it. We noticed reindeer meat in Finland but might be available in Denmark also. The best local dish I had was herring at a restaurant in Tivoli. I can't recall the name but it translates to "The Ditch" because it was a ditch before they put the restaurant there. The herring was outstanding, it was so fresh (no fishiness at all) and had a hint of dill.

We eat herring (and other fish of course), but not whale or seal. They do in Greenland, but Greenland is also quite exotic for us ;-) The name of the restaurant in Tivoli is Grøften, and you can buy herring in all supermarkets (called "sild" in Danish. I don't think Tivoli offers online discounts.

Hey, thanks for your feedback! I am only asking about this seal meat dish because I saw it on a youtube video.
Thanks for your advice and looking forward to Denmark!
