I'll be in London next week. Will trains, shops, restaurants be on regular weekday schedules May 1, or on a holiday schedule? I'm considering a day in Bath.

It may be a public holiday elsewhere in Europe, but not in the UK. Our next Bank Holiday is Monday 6 May.

On the 6th May, restaurants and attractions will probably be open, but shops may be closed and trains will be on Sunday service or possibly closed for renovation works.
