After our walking tour in the Yorkshire Dales, we're heading back to the States from Manchester airport. We'd like to spend a day in Manchester after arrival by train, and departing the next day. Any tips for hotel near the train station with easy access to the airport the following day? Thanks in advance.

We stayed at Bewleys. They will take you to the airport or it is an easy walk. It was the most affordable I could find at the time. They have a pretty good restaurant and pub.

There also are a number of hotels near Manchester Airport which also has a train station as well.
