Madame Tussaud's

My family really wants to visit here. I could care less, but that's because as a child I went several times. I figure we could do this and go to Regent's Park nearby on the same day. Madame Tussaud's is not cheap. I have read that if you buy a paper One-Day Travelcard, you may be eligible for two-for-one discounts at many popular sights, such as London Eye and Madame Tussaud's at www.daysoutguide.co.uk – Does anyone know if this is a better deal, buying the tickets in advance from this site and calling them at 10 pence a minute ... OR
to go at a cheaper rate - I think 10 pounds less - after 5 PM - I figure if they close at 6, maybe, just maybe that will allow for enough time. Basically, my question is: any MT tips? Thank you.

Don't forget if you do the 2-4-1 wheeze the Travelcard must be issued by a National Rail ticket office, not an Underground ticket office....

Forget the 2 for 1. Use the 3 versus 1. Let the rest of them go to Tussaud's, while you do something else. Saves money and you don't have to go.
