For my second attempt at booking a day trip out of London, I purchased train tickets to Bath (yes, in advance--possibly a mistake)and 'booked' a half day Stonehenge and Lacock trip with Mad Max out of Bath. The Mad Max website clearly stated that a reservation is not actual until a confirmation email is received, and I have not yet received one. I made the booking over two weeks ago, and have since sent an additional email asking if they got my request--still nothing. Should I be concerned? This happened the first time I tried to book a trip--with Stonehenge Tours--but I learned from this site that that's not even a 'real' company--and I've since canceled those plans (I hope--I emailed them twice to cancel it and put a block on my credit card) My concern is this--we booked VERY early train tickets out of London and VERY late return tickts back from Bath so we'd still have plenty of time to see Bath even with the four hour Mad Max Tour. So if we don't do it, we'll be in Bath for around 12 hours--and my husband will not get to see Stonehenge. Should I be concerned? The trip is not for over a month--we leave July 12th, the day trip is on July 16th.
