We will be arriving at Heathrow early in am (6am) and plan to take the Heathrow express to the Paddington station. We cannot check into our apartment in Greenwich till 4pm. I know there is a luggage storage available in Paddington. The charge is on the high side especially since we are a party of 5. Anyone have ideas what to do with our carryon luggages for 8 hours? We are looking for some cheaper storage ideas while we do some sightseeing. We rather not have to bring our luggages around London.
Appreciate any ideas you have.
Instead of taking the Heathrow Express to Paddington, take the tube to Victoria. Walk to the Victoria Coach Station which has cheaper luggage storage rates than the train station. Use the money that you saved by taking the tube to pay for luggage storage.
Some apartment rental services will arrange earlier arrivals. Even for an extra fee, it would probably be cheaper and certainly more convennient than the options being suggested.
I am in the same boat as you. No early check ins at all allowed. And they won't hold luggage. I like the Victoria Coach station idea!
