Is there any luggage storage facility in the Carlisle railway station (or nearby)? Planning to stop at Carlisle for a bus ride to Hadrian Wall but would not stay overnight at Carlisle.

Any suggestions as to deal with this problem? As it would be quite impossible to carry our luggage with us on the bus to Hadrian Wall and back...

Is there any possibility you can take less luggage? There is a hotel just out the train station front door to your right. The hotel might let you put your luggage in their trunk room.
