Will our 22 inch suit cases fit in the overhead bins on Aer Lingus? I have a Rick Steves rolling case from 2010 that we took to Portugal as a carry on, but I notice the newer cases are smaller.
If they are wheeled bags they probably won't fit the size requirements, since the wheels add length to the bag. You would be better able to tell if you check their size requirements and physically measure your bag to see if it complies.
As per AerLingus website: Standard Allowance
One single piece of cabin baggage. All carry-on must be within the size dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 24cm (21.5" x 15.5" x 9.5"). In addition, there is a weight limitation of 10kgs. Hope this helps! :-)
