Starting at Penrith:

Head out of town to the northeast. In about five miles, you'll come to the village of Langwathby. Turn left on a minor road (make the turn before the railroad tracks).

You're headed toward Little Salkeld which is only about a mile to the north. A half mile past Little Salkeld a path leads off to the left. Two minute walk from there.
