Is the London Zoo worth visiting? We plan on exploring the British Library and the British Museum on a particular day and considered visiting the London Zoo first while we are in the area. However, I have read conflicting reviews of this zoo. I've been to many of the outstanding zoos in the US so I am concerned about spending time and pounds if the London Zoo really isn't world class. Thanks!

It's a world class zoo. Over the past few years the zoo has spent a lot of money upgrading the facility, and it's better than ever. If you're into zoos it's worth a visit.

Havent visited it for a while, but did enjoy it when we were there When we were last there we left via a canal boat which took us from the Zoo to Little Venice (walking distance North of Hyde park) which was a different experience. Dont now if it still operates. As i remember, one of their exhibits was "wolf woods" which was very interesting
