Just wondering if anyone has any advice on finding a weekly rental for London. I would like to be close to a tube station.
I don't need to be right in the center of London because I have family that just moved close to Mile End (tube station) I think this is in the Hackney district (or close).

Just be careful in Hackney, its a pretty rough area.
Thx for the advice on Hackney...I have been lookin closer and I would be in Tower Hamlets area. Is t a his a dangerous area too?
What about a weekly rental anywhere near here...or should I just stay closer into London city??

The Borough of Tower Hamlets has the second highest poverty levels in London. As with most places there are good and not so good parts. Can't your family advise you?
Maybe stay in/near the City(of London) as it is on the right side of London for Tower Hamlets and is an interesting area. There is self catering accom available there.

Sounds like its not the best of area.
When you say weekly rental do you mean hotel, B&B, or Apt.? Personally, Apt. would be my first choice. There, you can cook/prepare food and maybe save a bit. I did a fast Google search and found apts. from 350L per week for 2. I have not used this site, but look here for examples: http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk/greater-london/
