Anyone stayed in this area? Rented a two-bedroom flat there in September....looks well located for transportation and shopping (we'll be self-catering). Any thoughts on attractions in the neighborhood or withing walking distance?
In the huge mall mentioned by Steve is a restaurant called Wuahaca. It serves the best mexican food in England that we have found in a decade of search. We travel nearly 100 miles each way to partake several times a year. Maybe going tomorrow. yum!
Its not really that far, you can take the central line into the center of London in 15 minutes max.
Also, youre near the HUGE Westfield mall in White City if you need to buy any clothes, drugstore stuff, etc.
Mum, sis and I stayed in Shepherd's Bush for a few days once. Mum loved it - we were in a rather more residential area, lots of eating places, and she found it very easy to get to places of interest in central London using the tube and bus.
