For our first, Oct. 08 trip to London, and deploring tiny hotel 'boxes', we found a place at 9 Albert Embankment. URL: http://www.vacationrentals.com/vacation-rentals/7108.html - They offered a 1BR apt 'similar' to that 2BR on the URL. Cost is 100 gbp daily for 10 days. We Paypal'ed 200 gbp deposit, the contact person has been helpful, we've emailed and telephoned and received a pdf confirmation, the remaining (equivalent US$ 2,000.00 due on arrival. It seems good, in fact almost too good to be true but they haven't asked for additional money up front or anything 'suspicious' and I believe that it is legitimate. I'd value opinions from others who may know how to verify this or know about THIS BUILDING. Thanks, I don't want to let a good company get flack and they probably are good and honest, but with all the scams, a SECOND OPINION, especially if from a former tenant never hurts. Thanks, Steve & Leela

Hi Steve,
... Above is the link of a USA based (New Jersey) company which manages vacation apartments. They enjoy a stellar reputation. You may call them toll-free to discuss your needs. On the VacationInParis home page, click on "all apartments" then scroll completely to the bottom where one Chelsea apartment is listed. You might have the key to your way cool London apartment before you leave Seattle. Happy travels! ... P
