Having decided to base in London, our next challenge is lodging. Several of Rick's recommended B+B's are booked, and we like that style of lodging - seems roomier with more amenities than some of the cracker box hotels we saw on Easy-to-Book and other such sites. Hotel Luna Simone in Victoria is available but web site not loaded with pictures so hard to tell. Appreciate any feedback if you stayed there or any others you liked in the area.

Look up Dolphin Sqaure apartment Hotel- the apartments have lots of room, one tube stop past victoria (at Pimlico) recently renovated. We enjoyed and returned often

A couple of years ago, we used Winchester Hotel in that area. It was fine. Have also used the Lime Tree but it is more expensive.

Go to TripAdvisor for photos and reviews. I was just there a couple weeks ago and found it be an adequate, RS type hotel. The staff is what makes it special-they are extremely helpful. And, the neighborhood is filled with small stores and restaurants plus the #24 bus goes right by and you can go to Trafalgar Sq on it. I would definitely return.
