LONDON IN AUGUST

We are considering a trip to the UK in August 2012. this is the only time we can travel due to kids schedule. I am a bit concerned about crowds during the Olympics. We are not attending the Olympics. We would be in Bath, Cotswold, York, Keswick, and Edinburgh(I know Fringe festival is during that time, so to expect crowds) We would be in London Aug 19-23 which would be a week after Olympics end and a week before Paraolympics begin. Would appreciate any advice. This is my teenage boys' first trip to Europe. So I want them to enjoy and I want to plan appropriately. Many thanks!

so you do have both flights and hotels locked down, right? If not you may be hunting pretty hard...
