Has anyone stayed at the Montague Hotel near the British Museum?
Is it within walking distance of Leicester Square? Any other hotel suggestions for this area? Paris - Has anyone stayed at the Hotel du Cadran?

I stayed at the Hotel Du Cadran back in May. Excellent hotel in a great location. I loved being able to walk to the Eiffel every evening to watch the light show.

I stayed at the Hotel du Cadron 6 years ago. It was very nice. My only complaint was a lack of hot water for showers. I had to set my alarm to get up early in the hopes the water would at least be warm. My sister and BIL stayed on another floor and had no problems.

We stayed at the Morgan Hotel, which is right behind the Museum on Bloomsbury St. The location was ideal, with buses galore and two different Tube stations within easy walking distance. The room was terrific, with hot water aplenty and a not too small room. My only problem with it was the lack of potable water from their taps. We should have stocked up on hugecbottles available at the Sainsbury corner grocery store down the street.
