Can anyone recommend a nice, quiet hotel in the Notting Hill area? I was very interested in an updated, boutique hotel called The Lennox, but they seem to have closed indefinitely for more renovations!?

We stayed at The Westland Hotel in October. It was excellent. Very conveniently located, large rooms, modern bathrooms, across the street from Kensington Gardens, etc., etc. Check it out:

We spent a week at the Somerset Bayswater Hotel, a 10-minute walk (if that) from Portobello Market. We loved it, and got a good price online.
