One of the if not THE most frequently asked question about London. Understanding that London is one of the most expensive cities in the world please take the time to: (1.) scroll down and look for answers to previous lodging inquiries (2.) check the graffiti wall link or (3.) get Rick's book on London and peruse the chapter on accommodations. Once you find a place that meets your criteria then check out the reviews on the Tripadvisor website. As you are not going until next May you'll have plenty of time to do the research....and how bout them GIANTS!!!

And don't waste time looking for some amazing bargain. People selling rooms in London know more about their competitors than we can ever know. If you find a place you like at a price you like, get it.

We stayed in the Cherry Court hotel last year, and it was lovely. The owners are really nice, and the hotel is perfect for sleeping. The rooms are tiny, but we just needed somewhere to sleep. We also stayed a night at the Easy Hotel Victoria, which again is great if you simply need a room. However, it has no charm whatsoever. Just great for a night's stay. :) Enjoy your trip to London!
