What premiere travel inn is the better location for a family (kids 2,8,10) when visiting London sights - Euston or County Hall
They are both really good locations. If I had to choose one, I'd probably go for County Hall but this is one time I would be influenced by price. Whichever will give you the best rate is the one to pick.
The County Hall one is where I stayed, and the best part is you cannot get lost finding your hotel since its literally next to the London Eye!
Its close to the Tube and the Bus stop.
There's not a huge amount of traffic, and in fact the street in front of the hotel is closed to cars.
I'd definitely choose County Hall. It is on the Thames next to London Eye and across from Parliament. You can walk across the Pedestrian Bridge and be in Leicester Square in 15 minutes.
I stayed in County Hall this summer...great central location, tube or bus nearby...a walk away from westminster...with small children, it would be perfect...the bar area had a nice inexpensive menu...also, i think there may be a star wars exhibit there and an aquarium under the building...not that you want it, but there is a McD's there, too....have fun!
County Hall, no question.
Definitely County Hall. Great location and lots of things to see nearby. The London Eye was outside my window. The best souvenir shop in London is across the street and down a block. It is called the Big Red Bus. Wonderful shop!
I stayed at County Hall, as others have said great location. Walked to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben/Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Camden Market, St. Pauls Cathedral. And so very close to the Eye. Nice to just go downstairs and be on the Thames, I had teenagers and it was perfect spot.
