London hotel - Belgravia vs Bloomsbury - Cartref House vs Arran House

Staying 3 nights in London in June. Hubby and I have been to London several times but this is our 17 year old daughter's first time. I've spent several days now searching for hotels and bed and breakfasts and have now narrowed it down to two: Cartref House in Belgravia triple 126 pds per night
and Arran House in Bloomsbury 113 pds per night. Both include bkfst and all taxes and are ensuite. Cartref is recommended in Rick Steves book and is #25 on Trip Advisor for b & b's.
Arran House is #4 on Trip Advisor.
Originally my hubby wanted to stay in Belgravia area but he has always been curious about Bloomsbury area.
FYI, Luna Simone and Winchester Hotel are soldout for our June dates.
Since we are 3 cannot use Priceline unless we get 2 rooms.
Thanks for any thoughts on either the areas or hotels.

I really like the Belgravia neighborhood because it's so convenient to Victoria Station--it's also a great neighborhood to walk around in! I've stayed at the Cartref House two times--it's basic but comfortable. I'm not sure about the Bloomsbury neighborhood--in a large city like London I tend to stick to Rick's recommendations.

I haven't stayed in Bloombury, but I love the area. It's central enough that you can easily walk to many tourist attractions.

I have stayed in Bloomsbury twice and will stay there again in April. I love the area . Tube is close and there are lots of eating and drinking options at the end of a long day. A good place for your London home.
