london hotel

I would like to stay in Bloomsbury if possible on my next trip to London and the Harlingford Hotel on Cartwright Gardens has been suggested...we are a party of three seniors and we wonder about restaurants in the area and safety for walking about in the evening as well as the hotel itself. Has anybody been there? I would love some information on the hotel...I have to call long distance to London to book it!

hi Mollie, I stayed in Cartwright Gardens - at the Euro Hotel, not the Harlingford though - some years ago and it seemed a safe neighbourhood. It was a quiet area then, but I've seen a review on Tripadvisor that mentioned a couple of noisy pubs nearby. It's a good location - very near a couple of tube stations, convenient for getting around.
