London Heathrow Airport Hotel Help!

The BA strike canceled our original flight from Prague to Heathrow on te 25th. We rebooked our flight but it arrives at 7pm and we leave the next day at 11am. We would like to stay at a hotel close to the airport that hopefully has a shuttle to save on money. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Several years ago we had a good stay at the Premier Inn Heathrow; it has quite a good set of reviews on TripAdvisor, as do Days Hotel Heathrow and Jury's Inn Heathrow. I think we paid for the shuttle to the airport. Good luck!

Windsor is a 15 minute taxi ride from Heathrow, it would be a wonderful place to stay. Two hotels there are Ye Harte & Garter and The Castle. It's a lovely area to walk around in the evening, could walk to Eton and/or Windsor Great Park.

For information on the Jurys Inn listed by Kathleen, go here. Local bus service between Hatton Cross and Heathrow is free.

Yotel.

It's located in Terminal 4.

There's also a Sofitel connected to Terminal 5 via a covered walkway and a Hilton connected to Terminal 4 via a covered walkway.

No shuttle needed from either except if you need to get between terminals.

I've stayed at Heathrow Lodge, near the airport. They had a free shuttle to the airport beginning at 6am. I think they will pick up people at the airport, too.

We have stayed several times at the Holiday Inn, Sipson Road, West Drayton. There is a shuttle service between the airport and the hotel but you do pay for it. The hotel is nice, everything you need for a night's stay but it is also just on the edge of Sipson village, which while not one of the most picturesque in UK (this is the one they want to tear down for the new runway) does have a few pubs and the one closet to the hotel has good food.

Usually good prices on lastminute.com or the hotel itself.

There are several Holiday Inns near Heathrow but this is the only one I have stayed in.

Thank you so much everyone for your help, you are the greatest. You saved me hours of research for this problem. We ended up staying at the Sofitel because of the convenience. Nice hotel even if the price was high (actually saved about $50 on bookings.com)

Try Yotel! Its right in Terminal 4 and charges by the hour for a "pod" room with private bath. For an eight hour night it costs 63.00. Pretty cheap for London and right where you need to be to catch a flight with NO hassles.
