I'm planning a daytrip from London to the southern Wales area and back in the same day. I'm checking out of my B&B that morning and would like to store my luggage at London Euston Rail Station, where the train leaves from to Chepstow are there lockers or a luggage storing facility at this station upon my return later that same day I could pickup and check into my new hotel?
Yes there is a storage facility. £9 per item per 24 hours. Operates 07:00 - 23:00 7 days a week.
Thank you for the quick reply and info
The left luggage facility, operated by The Excess Baggage Company is ituated at the top of the ramp to platforms 16 to 18. As you come into the station from the front, the Euston Road side, you will see the huge big electronic departure board ahead of you. To the left of that is a corridor with the Boots pharmacy on the corner. Go down that corridor until you see platforms 16 to 18 appearing, the left luggage is on the left. It is attended, and after all the paperwork is completed the luggage (full price as above for each piece) the luggage will be x-rayed just like at an airport and then stored. Both dropping off and collecting will take time. That's a doozie of a day-trip. Euston to Chepstow will be between a minimum over 3 hours to 4 hours each way. Somewhere which required 8 hours on a train would have to be pretty important to me. You may find it easier, but maybe costlier, to go via First Great Western trains at Paddington, via Newport. Still a hugely long day though....
