We will be spending the night in London before heading to Bath via train. Does anyone have a recommendation for a B&B that would be convenient to the airport/train station? Thanks! pam

Pam - Falcon Hotel(www.falcon-hotel.com), I have not stayed here but a friend has and said it met his needs quite well.

Pam, The Jesmond Hotel (http://www.jesmondhotel.org.uk/) in Bloomsbury is a 10 minute taxi ride from Paddington Station or a 20 minute tube ride. Paddington is where most trains to Bath depart from, making it pretty convenient. I enjoyed the Jesmond because it was in a safe, quiet neighborhood, but close to all the sights. The tube station is a block or two away and you only have to transfer once to get to Paddington. Hope this helps! Annaliese

We also stayed at and recommend Falcon Hotel. It's only about 2-3 blocks....an easy walk... from Paddington Station.
