Hello, Can anyone recommend a good apartment rental company in London, for about a week's stay? Has anyone used www.homeaway.co.uk? If so, was it a good experience? Thanks!

We've used Homeaway in Paris and various US cities, always a good experience for us. All the website does really is connect you with the apartment owner. Several years ago for London we used www.homefromhome.co.uk and got a nice place in South Kensington for 12 nights. It's no longer listed on that website, but it shows up on another: http://www.aplacelikehome.co.uk/l31-wetherby-place-south-kensington-bqxggpxf.aspx. I can't vouch for the website but the flat was good for two people. I'd say Google "London vacation rentals" or some such and then check Trip Advisor for feedback about particular places and/or websites you find. Keep in mind that the first floor in Europe would be the second here, and that bed sizes may not be what we think they are (European "kings" might be "queens" to us), so if it matters look for or obtain actual dimensions.
