What road ?
Vauxhall is a bit of a mixed bag. Some places are really very desireable, others aren't. The nearer the river the nicer it gets.

I think it's right on the river. The complex is St George Wharf. The website says it's directly across from Vauxhall tube station.

If you're right near the station, the area is quite nice. About a 5 min. walk across Vauxhall bridge and you'll be at the Tate Britain. Be sure to take a walk along the river up to Westminster!
