Does anyone have a suggestion on accomodations in London for December....something that is clean, comfortable, and in a good location, out of the turisty areas preferebly.

We just stayed at the Elizabeth Hotel (recommended as a best buy on this site). It was comfortable, good size bathrooms, plenty of hot water and water pressure, nice staff and best of all within walking distance of Victoria Station and many London sites like Buckingham Palace. Very substantial breakfast included, which kept us to two meals per day and saved us some money. It's the one on Eccleston Square.

I have stayed at the Bayswater Inn. Two blocks from the Bayswater Metro. Clean, Pvt bath, w/ restaurant. Tourist class hotel.
