London 2 for 1 offers

I'm confused by the information on the national rail website about the 2 for 1 offers. We'll be traveling by train from Paddington to Bath on a Saturday, back to London on Monday and then out on Eurostar to Paris 7 days later. The way I read the restrictions, we could either 1) qualify for the 2 for 1 during the time we return to London and the time we depart on Eurostar OR 2) we only qualify on the day we arrive in London from Bath. Please let me know if you have insights or contact information where I can get an official answer.

1) No. Your train tickets to Bath to London will qualify you for the 2 for 1 in London on that day only (if you do not lose it by feeding it into the turnstile). The Days Out 2 for 1 offers are a scheme by National Rail. Eurostar, Heathrow Express, and Heathrow Connect services are not National Rail and do not qualify for Days Out 2 for 1 discounts. 2) Correct. You can get an official answer at http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/contact-us Do you know that London TravelCards purchased from a rail station instead of a tube station will qualify for the 2 for 1 discounts?
