We are getting back to London for one day at the end of a trip and flying out of Heathrow the next morning. Can anyone recommend a place to stay near Paddington Station? We are looking for inexpensive. Thanks!

About 2 years ago we stayed at the Norfolk Court & St. David's Hotel, http://www.stdavidshotels.com. It is just a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station. Very nice place. Not fancy, but very nice.

We stayed at the Edwards Hotel, a 2 block walk from the Paddington Station. We booked through Hotels.Com and had a reasonable priced room, small but comfy.

There are a lot of budget places near Paddington. Simply do a search for Paddington hotels. There are a whole lot on Norfolk Square - you could search google for London Paddington Norfolk Square hotel. The ones mentioned already are good options but there are plenty more to try.

Loads of Hotels nearby, about 3 blocks away on Gloucester Terrace. Royal Court Apts and about 6 different hotels of medium price (for London).
