My husband and I will be in Vaxjo, Sweden September 23 - 28th and we are looking for reasonably priced lodging. We will be visiting our daughter who will be at the university. We are not planning on renting a car, but would like to rent bikes.
We are open to hostels, hotels or whatever is the best for our money.

Vaxjo is a small town and we stayed in a hotel, but I dont remember the name. They are more expensive than hostels, and more crowded in September.

We stayed at the Elite Stadshotellet in Vaxjo two years ago. At that time it cost 845 kr per night for two people - it was a fairly upscale hotel (one recommended by Rick Steves) - I would think you could get something more reasonable, but this one is nice - great breakfast buffet.
