Train's the best way....about 3 1/2 hours from London, fares as low as $60 each way. Check nationalrail.co.uk for timetables and pricing. If you google search Liverpool and "beatles tours" you'll see about a billion companies come up....pick the one you like. It's probably the best way to seek out the Beatles' haunts if you've got limited time in Liverpool.
