Hi, Amy and I will be in Lisdoonvarna for two nights. Does anyone have a suggestion for scenic drives in the area? Thanks.

I think I gave my advice in your other post about Lisdoonvarna to Dingle. Let me know if you have questions, as I said, we were just there 2 weeks ago (and loved it!)

We passed through Lisdoonvarna (ate a lovely lunch at a hotel/spa there) on our way to the Barren where there was a fort Caherconnell Stone Fort and Poulnabrone Dolmen near by (on the road there was a lady selling lovely pottery out of her garage, just leave your money in the tin). We used a trip descriped in Ireland of the Welcomes magazine section Highways and Byways and there was also a castle somewhere in the little day trip. We came up from cliffs of Moher over the Tarbert Ferry which is a nice day out also. Have fun.
