Lindisfarne tides

We're driving from Durham to Edinburgh on May 16 and want to stop at Lindisfarne Priory (Holy Island) if we can get across on the causeway. This requires a low tide, but I haven't been able to find a tide table online. Can anyone point me to an online source? I have title insurance for my house, but no tidal insurance for this trip!

google holyisland lindisfarne tide tables. For May 16, the safe crossing times are 5:40-12:10 and then 18:20 to midnight. We went there last June. You need about three hours for the abbey and then lunch at the pub. We didn't bother with the castle........ You might also enjoy nearby St. Abbs Head, the town is picturesque, a little bit like Mousehole in Cornwall. After that we went to Dryburgh Abbey, then overnight in Melrose. A lovely corner of the UK.

For the avoidance of doubt, I posted a link to the January tides. Be sure to click May 2011.

Many thanks, Cynthia and Mark. It looks like the tide will preclude our visit to the priory that day. We'll have to assume that we'll return. We look forward to all the rest there is to see in Northumbria and the Lowlands.
