I've read several posts recommending staying the night in Windsor when we have an overnight stay between flights. My question is simple. What's the best way to get from LHR to our hotel/B&B (I haven't booked yet). We have to be at the airport by 7:00 am the following day and I want it to be easy. I don't mind spending a little extra $$ if it's more convenient. Do you know estimated travel times?

Rather than a regular taxi, I consider a pre-booked car service. Laura RW (stnads for royal Windsor) posts reguarly on the Lodon and Windsor forums on TripAdvisor and can recommend several companies that charge a flat fee (rather than a metered taxi service).

The easiest way to get to Windsor from LHR is a taxi from Windsor (not London). It was quick, about 20-30
minutes.

The most convenient way would be by taxi....it's only a 15 minute ride (not 30). Windsor Cabs is £18.00...here is their website...http://windsorcabs.co.uk/
