We plan to spend a couple weeks driving through Cotswolds, Northern Wales and England. After a long flight from the U.S., I would like to relax for a night near Heathrow and get a rental car for the onward journey. Do not want to go into London or travel any distance from the airport, before heading north. Any suggestions?

Have you rented a car there before? I would only do it for an adventure, otherwise it's really expensive and inconvenient. Go first class on the trains!
