Late night public transit in Scandinavia or walking?

I will be in Copenhagen, Goteborg, and Stockholm and will be seeing some concerts that may last until 1AM, is the public transit in those areas safe and convenient late at night?

I'm generally planning my lodging to be near the Central train stations, so the specific trips I'm wonder about are:
Christiana back to Central Copenhagen;
Lorensburg back to Central Goteborg;
west Soderholm back to central Stockholm

Most of those trips seem like they're only a 10-15 minute transit trip, but I was also thinking of walking, or would late night walking in those areas be ill-advised?

Or would I be better off to find lodging near the concert sites and then take transit back to the central train stations?

Did you mean that the Stockholm concert was in Södermalm? If so then it is fine to either walk or take the bus. However, Södermalm would also be a good place to stay.

Correct, sorry if I wasn't clear. I'm planning to maybe attend three different concerts, one is in the Christianahavn area of Copehagen; one is in the Lorensburg area of Goteborg; and the last one is on the west end of Soderholm near Stockholm.

I was mainly just wondering what it would be like walking in those areas late at night.

I know nothing about the venue's: Hornstull Strand in Stockholm; Loppen Copenhagen; and Parken in Goteborg.

I'll be arriving in Stockholm by train, and then leaving the day after the concert from the Arlanda airport.

For Stockholm ---
Hornstulls Strand is on Södermalm (not Söderholm). While you could walk, this is quite a long walk from the Central Station and would probably be a bit much at 1am. It would be quicker to take the bus. The Stockholm transportation (sl.se) website has a journey planner where you can plug in the addresses, date, and time to get the bus or subway (tunnelbana) to take.

If you go on a weeknight, you will probably need to take the bus, but on a weekend the tunnelbana runs later.
