Will be in Killarney for 2 days in April. Any recommendations on hotels or B&Bs close to town (within a mile or so)? Also, has anyone done any of the day trips? Biking sounds good, but in mid-April? Thanks for any suggetions. Paula

You might look at Crystal Springs B&B, which is on the main drag into Killarney. There are numerous B&Bs along this street, too, in case they are full for the dates you are looking at.

Thanks Nancy! I've heard of Crystal Springs. Have you been there? More importantly, can you walk from town center in under 10 minutes. Will have my 74 yr old mom with me and this is an important consideration. Don't want to be taking taxis everywhere, if it can be avoided. Thanks again!

I have been there, yes, and it's very nice. And it's not too far from the city center, though I don't remember exactly how far (we were driving).
