What is the best way to get to the Rock of Cashel from Kilkenny? After looking at the map there doesn't appear to an easy way to get there. We will be driving.

N77 to Durrow, then N8 to Rock of Cashel. Check out viamichelin.co.uk. They say this way is 77 km but looks pretty good. They also offer another route on R691 which is what they call "discovery"; shorter (55) and cheaper but much slower.

There are no easy ways to get anywhere in Ireland. Part of its charm - that sense of "discovery". Allow lots of extra time for driving anywhere, partly because you'll want to stop at places along the way and enjoy the scenery.
Kilkenney and Rock of Cashel are both great. You've chosen good destinations.
