Kids in London Pubs

Can I take my teenage kids into pubs in London to get food?

Yes. In fact, you can probably buy them a pint as well without any kind of problem. :)

Yes you can take children into most pubs in the UK, however there is usually a harm prevention code which will require children under the age of 14 to leave by a certain time. It is true that in the past, licensees were lax regarding age and selling alcohol, but there has been a real crack down in recent months. I believe that publicans can serve wine and beer to a 16 year old with a meal, although many people will not have read the new legislation and will probably not be aware of this point. The UK has seen a recent change in licensing laws which became effective from first July 2005. Hope this helps.
