What's the best airport to fly into to get to keswick and the Lake District? How far is it to there from where I would land? Thanks.

I assume you mean the closest airport with direct flights from the US. Manchester is 120 miles, Glasgow about 140. The nearest railway station to Keswick is 17 miles away to the east, at Penrith. http://www.keswick.org/visitor-information/getting-to-keswick/by-train-coach-or-bus/
