Aran Islands - We had a reservation at Ardm Huiris, when I tried to call to confirm the day before and day of I could not get through, it kept saying the number was not working. So when we got to the ferry I asked the girl to
please call and let them know we were trying to call and could not get them. When she called they had given our rooms away. I was a little upset because I had confirmed before we left and she had our credit card number to charge if we did not show up. She confimed the number I had was the right number but it never worked for us and was not the number the girl called from the ferry office. Just a heads up! We ended up staying at Ard Einne Guesthouse which was on top of a hill with gorgeous views. The rooms are small and the bathrooms tiny. My son joked that he could use the toilet, brush his teeth and wash his feet in the shower at the same time. The room we stayed in had a window seat and looked out over the water. They were very helpful in giving suggestions on where to eat.
Dingle - Milestone House B & B
This place was amazing!! Barbara and Michael are the perfect hosts. The rooms were clean, big and had gorgeous views. Michael makes fresh Irish bread everyday they serve at breakfast. Their breakfast was the best of everywhere we stayed. They have a map they drew of the town and sit with you and give you recommendations of places to go and where to eat. They will help you book stuff and also offer wonder advice. Barbara let us hang some clothes on her clothes line and when it started to sprinkle she took them down and put in her dryer for us. Then she folded them and left in a basket outside our door. They made our stay here a wonderful experience.
