we are planning a 18 day trip to Ireland/Scotland, and need some help laying out the Itenerary. Any good ideas/wish lists? I am really looking forward to the suggestions. Jeff
Hi Jeff! How wonderful to have 18 days-- I'm jealous!
I can't speak to Scotland, but I'll give you my Ireland suggestions. (you should drive-- it's the best way to see the country)
- 3 Days in Dublin
- Passage Tombs & Hill Of Tara
- Glendalough & Wicklow
- Kilkenny for at least a night (maybe 2)
- Rock of Cashel, Cahir (castle & swiss cottage)
- Dingle-- I would suggest 2-3 days here (do the RS driving tour, stop at blasket island center)
- Aran Islands
- Cliffs of Moher -Galway -Donegal -London/Derry (for an afternoon, no need to stay over) -Greencastle ferry to northern ireland -Antrim Coast Sites (over 2 days)
Enjoy!
