Yes, go to the TI. It's right there in town. If you are carless, I would take a tour to Castle Dunvegan or check to see if there are other tours around the northeast arm of the island and see the Quirang. I would tour Talkisker, but I love their whisky. Also, if you hike a nice walk is to bus to Sligachan. You can then walk up into the hills for a great view of Loch Curuisk. You should be able to do Dunvegan Castle by bus, but check the times very carefully. Is the Cafe Arriba still there?

Dining at Three Chimneys Restaurant was a highlight for us. We had reservations well in advance but I think just walking in may get you a table. Our meals were wonderful and were not that expensive. They are said to be in the top ten best restaurants in the world.
