I have a 3 hour layover at Heathrow. Arriving business class on Iberia to terminal 4 and catching business class British Airways terminal 5. I'm wondering if I can chance an earlier flight but I would only have 45 minutes between.

Go to the Heathrow website and work through the "airport information" sectinoo to find connecting times.

According to that, from T4 (international) to T5(international) requires a minimum of 105 minutes.
Since you are flying business class you can spend the extra time on your 3-hour layover in the business lounge. T5 has several nice ones.

No way I'd chance the 45 min connection. I'd take the three hour connection, just be aware that there are two BA business class lounges at T5, one is very good, the other is tiny and not worthwhile.

Thanks so much. After calling British Airways they won't even let you book the flight with that short of a connection.

Tina--thanks for your comment about the two lounges at T5. I guess we were lucky and found the good one. Which is the "tiny" one?
